Anna: I started teaching in 2014. I formed a youth leadership and public speaking class with the assistance of Toastmasters International. Since then, I have worked with children ages 5 and up in both public and private school settings. In 2016, I founded Project Be You which primarily supports children in Orange County, California in developing their public speaking, and social and emotional skills. My passion is developing classroom resources that are easy to implement in a teachers’ busy workday.
Amy: After graduating with B.S. in Elementary Education & Special Education, I substitute taught for two years before going into the non-profit sector. In Upstate New York, I developed and taught a 2 year social and emotional learning curriculum for kids ages 7-11. It’s still thriving today in YMCAs, Salvation Armies, Domestic Abuse Shelters, Space Centers, and libraries. I moved to LA and teamed up with Anna in 2017.
Together, we are creative dynamos with a strong intention to see social-emotional learning thrive in the classroom by revolutionizing SEL resources to be cross-curriculum, easy to implement, and bite-sized so that SEL can fit into even the busiest of days!
