This is the notes sheet I hand out to students to complete with me. It includes warm-up problems, examples, graphing calculator hints, and a homework assignment.
I also have available a corresponding smart notebook.
This is the notes sheet I hand out to students for them to complete along with me. It also includes a homework assignment as well as graphing calculator cues.
There will also be for sale a corresponding Smart Notebook.
This is a handout students can complete. It goes with the Big Ideas textbook. I teach this section in 2 days so these are the notes I cover for the first day. Focus of a parabola.
This is the recording sheet that goes with the matching activity. The students match 15 equations to the pictures of the graphs (quadratics), and match what style the equation is in (vertex, standard, or intercept form).
Included are 15 quadratic equations and graphs. The students have to match the appropriate graph, equation, and which form the equation is in (standard, vertex, or intercept). Can be altered.
This corresponds to the Section 1.1 notes sheet I also have available. It includes examples for the section as well as a homework assignment.
This also includes graphing calculator cues.
