Experience

I’m an international teacher with years of experience teaching IB and AP Psychology in Korea and Vietnam. My resources are classroom-tested, student-friendly, and designed to make complex ideas clear and engaging.

Teaching style

I design clear, student-friendly lessons that make complex ideas accessible. My focus is on scaffolding, critical thinking, and real-world connections so students see why the material matters. I use structured goals, engaging visuals, and plenty of practice opportunities to help learners build confidence step by step.

My own education history

M.A. in International Security & East Asian Studies – Yonsei University, South Korea (2016–2018) B.S. in History, Psychology & Sociology – Wayne State College, Nebraska, USA (2008–2013) Korean Government Scholarship Language Program – Chungnam National University, South Korea (2015–2016) IB Certification through DePaul University – Trained in both MYP and DP (2022)

Additional biographical information

I’ve been lucky to teach and live in Korea and Vietnam, and those experiences shaped how I see the world and my classroom. Outside of teaching, I’m into cooking, aquascaping, and learning languages. I try to bring that same sense of curiosity into my resources, making them clear, practical, and fun to use.
