I've worked in 2 different districts and spent the majority of my career in Title 1 Schools. My day-to-day duties include individual and small group counseling, observation, assessment, data-collection, crisis intervention, attending meetings, and consulting with teachers. I am also constantly coordinating with parents and community-based service providers to provide the best possible support to my students. Teaching style

Students are constantly communicating their wants, needs, desires, likes, and dislikes to us in a variety of ways, verbally and nonverbally. It is my job as a School Psychologist to attend to this communication and help children learn the developmentally-appropriate skills necessary to function within their school, their community, and the larger world.
