About the store
I have been teaching AP and on-level psychology for 12 years and have been an AP Reader off and on for the past 8 years. I am a member of my state's teachers of psychology committee and attend at least one other psychology conference every year. I attended the conference at Clark University in 2016, the APA Summit on High School Psychology Education in 2017, and NCSS in 2018 and 2021. I was a master teacher presenter at the APA TOPSS Virtual Workshop for High School Psychology Teachers in 2021.

Alternate Movie Descriptions- AP Psychology Activity for Cognition
Aligned to BOTH the new 2024 CED and the old 2019 CED. This activity allows students to experience insight while having them reflect on the process of algorithms and heuristics as they try to figure out the movie being described from a different perspective. Students are also asked to apply any other terms (insight, mental set, etc) to their process of trying to solve the movie riddles. Activity includes 14 movies and two reflective questions.

AP Neurotransmitter Review- The Haunted Forest of NeuroVale
This Google Form enables students to practice with the functions of neurotransmitters based on various frightening events within a haunted forest. Teaching style
It's all about balance. I believe important for activities to be enjoyable for students, but it needs to be based on the science of effective learning as well as ethical. I have been fortunate to learn from the best of the best in AP Psychology and have been taught to evaluate what I present to my students. I am incredibly passionate about using techniques supported by cognitive psychology to help support my students in their learning and prepare them for life outside of my classroom.
