Experience

Welcome to my store! I've taught middle school ELA and elementary school for nineteen years. I love to create activities that engage students in high-level rigorous thinking. I currently teach enrichment and Gifted and Talented classes.

Teaching style

I teaching by encouraging kids to read, write, and create! I believe that because creation is the highest level of rigor, students should have the opportunity to daily engage in many real-world, authentic experiences.

I am a National Board Certified Teacher, and am certified from elementary school through high school Language Arts.

My own education history

I earned a bachelors degree in English at Furman University and a masters in elementary education from Clemson.

In addition to teaching, I enjoy writing, reading, and running. I love spending time with my husband and two children.
