This was a card game that my kids loved! I put them in the erasable mats so they can reuse the page. I also have digit cards 0-9 that the kids use with this game. They flip three cards over and round to the the numbers to the nearest ten. I turned it into a game by handing out counters (points) and the player with the higher number (once it was rounded to nearest ten) earned a point.
The kids played this game with rounding to nearest ten and hundreds!
This is a partner game that I used for rounding to nearest hundred. Students flip over digit cards to form a 3 digit number. They sat across from each other used the number line (hill) on the board to round their number to the nearest 100. The player with the higher number earned a point (counter).
Students stayed engaged and loved it!
This worksheet is great to use with rounding to nearest ten. I taught the kids to use the same number line for any number by adding the tens place in front of the 1-9 digits already on the number line.
It worked great for all my students!
This was used as classwork and homework. Three digit numbers to the nearest ten.

Experience
This is now my 4th year teaching. I have been teaching third grade for 2 years and taught 4th grade prior to that.
Teaching style
I love to make learning fun. I dedicate MANY countless hours to this profession. My weekends consist of searching and creating fun activities and lessons for the kids!
My own education history
I obtained my undergraduate degree in economics and management. I worked in an accounting field for a couple of years which I didn't feel suited me. I decided to get a masters in elementary education and become a teacher. I now do what I love!
