This is a letter that I send out prior to my math unit on multiplication. It explains how students will learn multiplication through arrays, equal groups, and repeated addition. The letter also shows parents the strategies we use so they may support their child at home. All standards and expectations are based on the common core standards.

This is a packet that helps students learn how to make nouns plural by adding s or es to the end of a noun. The packet focuses on the same words. I have used it as a whole packet or photocopied page by page and had students keep their work in a folder. The work ranges from sorts, sentences, fill - in. It also includes dotted lines for handwriting support.

There are three different sets / levels of world problems for students to work on it. They are challenging and require students to apply critical thinking skills to understand the problem and attack it! This is meant to use after students have a strong understanding of area and perimeter. My students love challenging word problems!

This worksheet has students practicing time using the words "after" and "past." It is best used after students have mastered telling time to the nearest minute.

This was used as classwork and homework. Three digit numbers to the nearest ten. (3rd page was used during a minilesson)

This assignment is one page. It includes a modified and general ed variation. This checks students understanding of what an important attribute is of a polygon.
