I have been a teacher for 14 years in different environments. Not only have I worked in a traditional classroom, but I also worked in a government program assisting low income families achieve their educational and parenting goals.
My current classroom is second grade in a private Christian school. I have taught grades Nursery, First, and Second. I love all these levels and cannot choose a favorite.

Teaching style
I enjoy teaching so much that I get summer depression. I know it sounds absolutely insane, but I miss the students and the structure. My classroom is well organized, but full of fun. I try to surround my students with great reading material and diverse learning resources. I enjoy creating room transformations and fun days for students to thrive.
