Teaching style

I believe learning should be hands-on, engaging, and accessible for every student. My resources are designed to build confidence and mastery through scaffolded practice and clear visuals. I also encourage independent learning and strive to make abstract concepts tangible with interactive worksheets, task cards, and activities. Whether it’s practicing addition and subtraction, exploring reading comprehension, or strengthening early literacy skills, my goal is to help students love learning.

Additional biographical information

So why is my store called *Purple Log*? đź’ś *The Purple Log* was originally the name of my educational company where I developed and ran enrichment programs such as Creative Drama and Creative Writing for schools. The name itself comes from a fantasy story I created for my children when they were very young, all about a magical forest filled with purple logs. They loved it, and as they've grown into wonderfully creative adults, the name has become a meaningful reminder of those early stories and the joy of inspiring imagination. Today, my hope is to continue that same spirit of curiosity and creativity through the resources I create. These include math and literacy for early learners, as well as creative drama strategies to integrate SEL with Language Arts in a fun and experiential way.
