Experience

I’ve taught middle school math working with everything from core content to intervention and enrichment. My classroom is a blend of structure and creativity. I’m all about reaching learners where they are and giving teachers tools that actually make teaching smoother, more engaging, and more purposeful.

Teaching style

I believe education is a space for students to explore their learning while we support! My style is about creativity but also practicality. I love to support students in ways that reach them as individuals but still support the whole class. I always try to find ways to make learning interactive, meaningful, and real. I wholeheartedly believe we’re not just teachers, but we’re placed in the role of teaching. There’s so much purpose behind what we do, and I aim to create activities and structures that reflect that. Fun, real, practical, and built with purpose.

Additional biographical information

First and foremost, I’m a Jesus lover! God guides me daily and has blessed me with the space of a classroom to begin with. All glory be to God! I’m a Virginia educator with a teaching background in math, and I’ve been in the classroom for about 3½ years now. I earned my degree from Virginia State University, and over the years, I’ve grown through experience in classroom management, engagement, student support, and hands on learning. I build connections first and teach second ... that’s what works for me! I can’t wait to share a piece of my classroom with you through the resources I create. Outside of teaching, you might catch me coaching soccer, reading at the library, relaxing at a coffee shop or Panera, traveling, or spending time with my loved ones. Thanks for supporting my TPT journey — I love you, and God loves you more!
