Finding the missing value when given the mean is quite a challenging standard. This product includes two note pages that guide students into understanding the steps of finding a missing value, along with guided practice problems and independent practice. Answer keys are included! The four square organizer has been a great memory tool for our students in remembering the steps of finding the mean and checking their answer.

This product makes inequalities purposeful by exposing students to real life scenarios in which they will write and graph possible solutions. As a whole group, you can brainstorm key words/phrases that correlate with each inequality phrase. Students will also have the opportunity to create their own scenario.
