Think-Tac-Toe is a great extension task that also offers student choice. This statistics activity addresses several learning targets and skills, including finding an unknown value of a data set given the mean, statistical vs. nonstatistical, error analysis, using vocabulary, and providing extension with mean, median, and IQR. Additional biographical information
After having our daughters, we were conflicted between wanting to be present for them without having to give up our love for teaching. We job share a middle school math/social studies position, allowing us to be at home with our girls more while also continuing to make a difference in the classroom.
