About the store

Experience

I have taught Kindergarten in both the public school setting in an ESL and inclusion classroom but I am currently teaching in the private school setting. I student taught in 2nd grade and 1st grade. I have extensive experience working with prek age students in both camp settings and tutoring capacities.

Teaching style

I love creating and making activities and crafts that allow students to show their creative side but also have a clear learning objective. I love activities that are easy to prep for teachers and also easy to understand as a student. As a kindergarten teacher all of my activities have simple instructions so that you have time to pull small groups or work one on one with students.

My own education history

Sam and Emily met at Texas A&M in a Freshman education class. They both went on to graduate with a Bachelor's in Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6. Sam went on to complete her master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction at Texas A&M after finishing her student teaching experience.
