Teaching style

My teaching style can be summed up as LOUD! I will do anything (within reason) to get my students moving, active, making memorable connections to content with as many visuals and hands on experiences as possible. Technology implementation is always a plus.

Awards & shining teacher moments

First year teacher of the year Teacher of the Year 6th Grade Team Leader (Perfect Attendance)- For a whole quarter and proud of it!

My own education history

I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a major in English for Secondary Education and a minor in History for Education. I also completed a study abroad at Korea University for 2.5 years learning Korean language skills and studied history.

Additional biographical information

Along with teaching ESOL online, I have started a new passion of blogging and freelance writing at put-into-words.com. If ever you need materials for an important project that you want to blow the socks off of your evaluator, I will go above and beyond to make you shine. Your students will be in awe. I simply want to put your teaching style into words. Every teacher needs a supporter in their corner to set aside all the politics and behavior issues, and truly feel the joy of creating and teaching great content.
