About the store
👉 Keep your class engaged and early finishers busy with our fun printable word searches and crosswords. Word searches are a fun way to learn new vocabulary and reinforce the lessons you've taught in your class. Here's why I got into educational word puzzles: I started creating crossword puzzles for myself in my final year of Pharmacy School to help me "ease into studying." I had so much to study, but still I'd procrastinate. I told myself I'd do the puzzles for just a couple of minutes, and sure enough those minutes would turn into hours of focused studying. I received some of the best grades of my academic career that year. I can't say it was all the puzzles, but engaging in your studies and not just skimming over it makes a huge difference. I went on to create a couple of softcover books for post-secondary Pharmacy and nursing students that I sell at various bookstores and on my website. And now I also make educational word puzzles for young students too.

It is like a color by code or color by number, but your students first have to do some math to determine what color is required. This no prep resource is good for mornin

My own education history

I have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and am a Registered Pharmacist with 3 daughters. I mention my daughters because seeing them go through school has definitely educated me too. Just months after graduating university I created a publishing company called Puzzletainment Publishing to help students puzzle their way to better grades. I sell books for pharmacy students and other health care professionals on my website, but I wanted to create puzzles for younger students to enhance their learning too. I believe that the longer a student thinks about something, and puzzles over it, that it create stronger neuronal pathways and allows deeper understanding and long term memory.

Additional biographical information

I initially wanted to be a middle-school science teacher but I switched majors in university and became a pharmacist. Now I still teach people daily about the proper use of medication and safety. I am passionate about giving students fun ways to engage in their studies, and I believe puzzles like crosswords and word searches allow students to puzzle their way to better grades. I know it has helped me and my kids, and I'm sure it can help your students too. I want to be your destination for worksheets for early finishers. If you have any suggestions for topics or improvements please let me know. Thank you, Tim
