Students select one of the 9 countries, and calculate the percent each age cohort and sex contributes to the total population. If they use good spreadsheet skills, they will be able to do the math portion in a very short frame of time.

This spreadsheet will fill the appropriate cells with green conditional formatting if there is a number that matches what you (or a student) types into the "question number" cell.
