This packet contains vocabulary cards with the word, a picture, and then the ASL sign for various kitchen appliances such as stove, microwave, mixer, measuring cups, etc. It also includes a scavenger hunt list for students to find the items in a kitchen. It includes scavenger hunt lists with the English word and then also lists with a picture of the item for non-readers. Originally used for deaf education life skills class but would also be good for special education.

This book is great for emergent readers learning about different people who work in their community. Students will choose the community helper who matches the place in the community and then velcro the person into the sentence. This PowerPoint covers adjectives. It shows students a picture and then they must come up with an adjective to describe the picture. Students are then shown the adjective in order to see the correct spelling and are also given synonyms.
