Use a multisensory approach to teaching high frequency words. This file includes the first five HFW's I teach to my kindergarten students. After introducing the word, have students trace and say the word at the top of each page, then practice saying and writing the word on the line. Students will be able to use the pictures to create a phrase with the designated word.
