4 booklets per page! Each booklet comes with a front page to color and customize, a world map, a personal info page (where they draw a picture of themselves in the box), and then pages to fill in for each country. Stamp pages are also included to cut/paste into their passports!
RULES OF 3 DIGIT SLAM:1) Shuffle and create two piles of cards: The blue number cards and the yellow operation cards. 2) Turn over a blue number card. 3) Turn over a yellow operation card. 4) Put the two cards together to make an addition or subtraction problem. 5) Say the problem out loud and solve it. 6) Have your partner check your answer. If it is correct, say “SLAM!” and take a counter. The first player to 5 counters wins.
With 20 cards in total, distribute the cards evenly between players. Going around in a circle, students read their cards and ask other students for a matching card to theirs. This is super fun in small group centers, and then, when they get the hang of it, to offer as an individual choice game!
