This product provides an introduction into the definitions and examples of the seven core principles of American Democracy, including a task to demonstrate understanding of the principles. Students are tasked with creating an original illustration of a superhero that exemplifies one of the principles, paired with a 1-page (at least) graphic story of their superhero demonstrating action to stand for their principle and show their superpower.

This is a summative project focused on student's demonstrating understanding of how an animal's physical traits and adaptations enable it to survive.
