About the store
Hi, I’m a K–5 Reading Specialist and Literacy Leader with 11 years of experience in public education! I began my teaching career in 1st and 2nd grade classrooms and now serve as a full-time reading interventionist supporting students across elementary grade levels. I am trained in Orton-Gillingham, LETRS, and the Science of Reading, and hold a certification in ESOL, along with a Master’s Degree in Reading. My passion is early literacy intervention and helping struggling readers build strong, confident foundations through structured literacy and multi-sensory instruction. In my store, you’ll find low-prep, research-based resources aligned to the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham principles. I design materials that are engaging, hands-on, and practical for busy teachers — perfect for intervention, small groups, special education, and general education classrooms. My journey into reading specialization is also personal. As a mom to two girls — including a daughter with dyslexia — I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing early identification and targeted instruction can be. I’m passionate about helping educators support diverse learners while also empowering families to advocate for their children. When I’m not creating literacy resources, you can usually find me at the dance studio cheering on my daughters, sipping an iced coffee (or an Alani energy drink), and designing materials with bright colors and cute fonts that make learning feel fun and approachable. Thank you for being here and for all you do for your students!
