I am a 3rd grade teacher in Lonoke, Arkansas. GO JACKRABBITS! I have taught for 6 years and I subbed for 1. I taught 4th grade for 4 years and have taught 3rd grade for 2. Magic School Bus: Inside the Earth/Rocks Quiz
This quiz goes along with the Common Core 3rd Grade TLI Unit "Magic School Bus: Inside the Earth" and the Picture Perfect Science Unit "If you found a rock" on the Layers of the Earth and Rocks. It is a short answer test with a word bank and one "labeling" question about the layers of the earth. Perfect for an end of unit test.

Pumpkin Seed Math activity to be used with a real pumpkin and the book "How many seeds in a pumpkin". We carved a pumpkin, took the seeds out, and then did this worksheet together during the week of Halloween.

GUIDED READING PARENT LOG
Use this "calendar style" log to keep up with nightly guided reading homework. It is good for one month's worth of nightly reading and has a spot for parent signature each night. I copy it on cardstock and put it in my students' take home folder to be signed each night... Enjoy!
