About the store
I have taught 1st through 5th grade in both a US and UK curriculum, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia, USA. I have taught in two different states in the US - Georgia and New Mexico, as well as teaching in Morocco. Every classroom I've ever taught in has had a high ELL population. I have taught both high income and low-income school students, and find that no matter where I teach, most kids need to look at every problem from 12 different angles. Although it is challenging, it is also incredibly rewarding.

Multiplication with Partial Products E-Quiz - Distance Learning

Need a good review of Multiplication with partial products? This 10 question "E-Quiz" reviews partial product, using many different representations. It works beautifully with a projector and student response system (such as IResponse, Beyond Question or CPS), but would work just as well with a small group or pair of students around one computer. It would also be a great computer center for kids who need to take a quiz at their own pace. See exactly what you're receiving when you download this f

Experience

I have taught 1st through 5th grade in both a US and UK curriculum, as well as teaching all grade levels in the computer lab at a Title I school in Georgia, USA. I have taught in two different states in the US - Georgia and New Mexico, as well as teaching in Morocco. Every classroom I've ever taught in has had a high ELL population. Teaching style

I am a very hands on teacher, who teaches through brain based learning strategies. I also use arts based learning strategies and SIOP (Sheltered Instruction - for ESOL learners) daily in my classroom.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I presented at the ECIS Technology Conference in London and the Everything's Intermediate Webinar on English Language Learners. I am the author of the blog Raki's Rad Resources. Throughout my various schools, I have been involved with Math Curriculum Selection Committees, Quarterly Trainers Meetings, Standards Based Report Card Design Committee, and PYP Training. I have trained teachers and parents on the use of technology for education purposes.

My own education history

I hold a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw University, and a master's degree in Instruction and Curriculum Design focused in Technology from Grand Canyon University. Through inservices provided by my county, I am also SIOP (Sheltered Instructional Observation Protocol) trained, and have recieved my certification in ESOL.

Additional biographical information

In addition to being a teacher, I am also a wife, and a mother of three boys - born in 2004, 2007 and 2011.
