I have been teaching students who are below grade level, in all subjects, since I was 14. I was officially licensed in New York City in 2010, as a special education generalists. My teaching experiences are many and varied, including special education teacher, drama teacher, literacy director, gymnastics coach, singer, AmeriCorps educator, and teen intern, 18 years ago!

The hamburger paragraph writing method is a great tool. I created a rubric to go with it, that covers both the basics, and the more advanced details of paragraph writing. This is a flexible rubric that can be used for many grade levels.
