About the store
Most of my teaching experience is in Special Education in Chicago Public Schools. I have taught in special education self-contained, resource, and inclusion classrooms. I was a Math Facilitator in a District Coordinator for social and emotional learning, and I want to share my resources to improve outcomes for challenging behavior.

Color-Coded 100 Chart w/ Multiples
I use these charts with my students to teach them the connection with counting and equal groups. Multiples of 2s-10s are color-coded on the hundred charts to identify patterns. A blank hundred chart is on the last page for students to practice skip-counting on their own in a fun way!

Solving Comparison Math Stories
This student friendly explanation of Comparison Math Stories may be used during instruction and/or as a mini-lesson to differentiate learning. My math intervention students use this resource to understand how to use comparison bars and/or circle drawings to show their work to solve comparison word problems.

Match to Compare
I designed this worksheet for students to 'see the difference' when comparing to subtract. This activity is intended to introduce how to compare by matching the same and circling the difference to answer how many more? and how many fewer?

Conversion BINGO
Students will practice converting measures for weight, capacity, length, etc. Then, students will randomly fill in the blank BINGO board with 9 of their answers. Play BINGO by calling out the answers- 3 in-a-row wins! My 4th grade math group loved this game!

These cards have the shape and shape name. I laminate them to put up in the classroom. Great to use for grades K-2. Includes 10 shapes: circle, triangle, rectangle (quadrilateral), square (quadrilateral), pentagon, hexagon, cube, cone, rectangular prism, and cylinder.

Comparison Math Stories reference sheet
This document can be used to explain strategies to solve word problems. It may accompany homework to help parents understand how to use comparison boxes and circle drawings to solve comparison math stories. An anchor chart could be developed with this information to post in your classroom to solve these complex problems.

Fact Families
This graphic organizer is used to practice fact families and part-part-whole concepts with addition/subtraction and multiplication/division. You can laminate it and use number cards and white board markers to be able to practice several examples and to add a tactile component to the task.

To build conceptual understanding of multiplication, use rectangle arrays! This 5 problem worksheet is a pdf but teachers can copy-paste into a Google Drawing to be used for virtual learning. Students make a copy and can share their answers with you.

Teaching style
My passion for small group and individualized instruction stems from my interest in working with the whole child. I feel that I am able to grow connections with my students by knowing their strengths, needs, and taking time to know what makes them who they are, and they blossom!
I am interested in all aspects of learning, including academic, behavioral, and social emotional, I plan my instruction with knowledge of student's learning styles, strengths, and needs, and include multi-sensory education and differentiated opportunities to help students succeed.
