About the store
Most of my teaching experience is in Special Education in Chicago Public Schools. I have taught in special education self-contained, resource, and inclusion classrooms. This student friendly explanation of Comparison Math Stories may be used during instruction and/or as a mini-lesson to differentiate learning. My math intervention students use this resource to understand how to use comparison bars and/or circle drawings to show their work to solve comparison word problems.

To build conceptual understanding of multiplication, use rectangle arrays! This 5 problem worksheet is a pdf but teachers can copy-paste into a Google Drawing to be used for virtual learning. Students make a copy and can share their answers with you.

Experience

Teaching style
My passion for small group and individualized instruction stems from my interest in working with the whole child. I feel that I am able to grow connections with my students by knowing their strengths, needs, and taking time to know what makes them who they are, and they blossom!
I am interested in all aspects of learning, including academic, behavioral, and social emotional, I plan my instruction with knowledge of student's learning styles, strengths, and needs, and include multi-sensory education and differentiated opportunities to help students succeed.
