Experience

With over a decade of experience as an educator, I specialize in teaching Art, Math, and SEL (Social Emotional Learning) to students . Alongside my teaching career, I’m a children’s author and growth mindset speaker. My classroom-tested resources are not just designed—they’re lived, used with real students, and refined with love, creativity, and intention. Teaching style

My teaching style blends warmth, structure, and creativity. I believe every child can thrive with the right tools and encouragement. I love designing activities that spark imagination, build self-awareness, and help students connect deeply with what they're learning. My resources often include storytelling elements, real-life scenarios, and space for self-reflection—because when learning feels personal, it sticks. I aim to make my materials easy to implement, visually engaging, and meaningful—so teachers can teach with confidence and students can learn with joy.

My own education history

Master’s in Math and Education. Ongoing professional development in SEL, literacy, and inclusive practices I’m a lifelong learner, always evolving with my students and staying current with best practices in education.

Additional biographical information

Fun Facts I’m the author of Think Big, a heartwarming SEL picture book that introduces kids to growth mindset through storytelling. I’m a proud mom of three, including a daughter with type 1 diabetes—who inspires much of my work in empathy and resilience. I love yoga, baking (yes, my cookies are famous in my class!), and good family movies with life lessons. My favorite part of being a teacher? The “aha!” moments, the giggles during read-alouds, and the quiet pride when a student dares to try again.
