I am a special education teacher with 14 years of classroom experience, including three years in a self-contained setting and eleven years as a resource teacher. Throughout my career, I have supported students with a wide range of learning, behavioral, and support needs.
My work focuses on IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring, as well as creating systems that help teachers and support staff consistently apply accommodations, services, and behavior supports in real classroom settings.

My Day!
What is included- -A one page document that includes a summary of the student's day. -Included areas are how was the student's behavior, what the student worked on through out the day, what is their homework, and any comments from the teacher. There is a signature line for the parent and student (if age appropriate). This is meant to be sent home daily to parents.

Teaching style
My teaching style is structured, data driven, and student centered. I prioritize clear expectations, explicit instruction, and tools that support consistency across classrooms and staff members.
I believe that well designed systems such as behavior tracking tools, IEP snapshots, and data collection forms reduce guesswork for teachers and paraprofessionals and lead to better outcomes for students.
