Experience

I’m a secondary Career & Technical Education teacher and department chair in Las Vegas, NV, specializing in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Web Design, and Robotics. I’ve spent over a decade teaching and coaching teachers to use data-driven instruction, engaging tech tools, and real-world projects to help students build confidence and career-ready skills. The resources in my store are classroom-tested, editable, and designed to save you time while keeping students actively learning.

Teaching style

My teaching style is structured but flexible, with lots of modeling, guided practice, and time for students to try things on their own. I use real-world examples, tech tools, and hands-on activities so students can see why the skills matter, not just memorize steps. Relationships and routines come first, then rigor.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve been honored as an NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Educator Award recipient and recognized as a CTE visionary and classroom leader in my district. I’ve earned multiple fully funded classroom grants and DonorsChoose projects to support Cybersecurity, Robotics, and STEM learning.

My own education history

I hold a Master of Arts in Management and Leadership from Webster University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Campbell University. I am licensed to teach Career & Technical Education in both Nevada and North Carolina, with endorsements in areas such as Computer Science, Web Design & Development, Computer Programming, and CTE leadership. This blend of business, technology, and education shapes the practical, real-world resources I create for teachers.

Additional biographical information
