Engage your students at the beginning of class with these reading comprehension bell ringers! Each day, students read an original fiction passage and then identify the theme. Students will also have to determine the meaning of a word using context clues for each passage. This resource contains four weeks of passages with a total of 20 passages! Teaching style
I like to be creative, but I do like to utilize practical resources in my classroom. Given the diverse needs of students, I like to include as many opportunities as possible to build reading comprehension skills using challenging and interesting texts.
