Sight Word Flip Books PreK and Kindergarten
Students love flip books! This set of 23 high-frequency words flip books is used on a regular basis during literacy centers/rotations in my kindergarten classroom. My students quickly learn the procedure for assembling a book and enjoy the opportunity to use the stapler! I created these books to reinforce sight word knowledge for our reading curriculum from the Center for Collaborative Classrooms. The books approximate the introductory order of words introduced in the Beginning Level for SIPPS

Teaching style
I believe in hands-on, collaborative, joyful learning. Our classroom is a kind community, documented daily through photographs and classwork. My kindergartners know they are loved and celebrated!

I have a BSE in Elementary Education, with additional certification in Early Childhood Education.
I also hold an MA.ed in Literacy and a Reading Certification K-12.

My husband and I have been married for 36 years! We have four amazing children and one adorable grandchild.
I am a singer of songs, writer of words, and lover of lattes.
Most days, you will find me with a book in my hand and coffee close by!
