Set up as puzzle pieces, students will use their knowledge of Ten Frames to count the food and match it to the correct number. Print, cut, laminate, and place in a learning station. You're good to go!

Use in pocket chart, teaching station, or literacy station after reading “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. Print on cardstock and laminate. Uses food featured in the story. Students will match groups of food in Ten Frames to the numeral that represents the quantity. Students will also match the words describing the groups of food.
