This is a quick, 3-5 minute, activity to do with students to introduce the concept of visualizing. It is a story that is only a few sentences long that allows the students to create a mental image based on the first few sentences, and then forces them to change the image with the last few sentences. It is a great way to kick off a lesson on visualization and helps to make an abstract concept more accessible.
