My teaching career includes ELL, adult education, and special education at the elementary level as well as several years at the middle school level. While I enjoy all subject areas, I specialize in ELA and Math. I am a published writer and look for opportunities to help students publish as well.

It is my delight to help students understand who they are as learners, celebrate their strengths, recognize their struggles, and work together to find learning strategies and styles that lead to success.

I enjoy crafting stories at multiple grade levels and tailoring them to the needs of specific students and teachers. This enables me to write grade level books as well as high interest books for challenged readers.
