At our school, first graders are expected to read for 10 minutes every day as part of their homework. I created this Monday-Thursday reading log because my students had a hard time keeping track of long-term logs, not to mention filling in the tiny boxes on them. This weekly log gives them plenty of room to write in the title and author of the book(s) they read each night, with a line for their parents to jot any concerns, questions, or proud comments.
