KABOOM!Kaboom! is an exciting and fast-paced math game that helps students build fluency and confidence through play. Students take turns drawing cards with math problems. Everyone solves the problem, but only the student who drew the card answers out loud. If the answer is correct, the player keeps the card. If not, the card goes back in the pile. Teaching style
Small group instruction works especially well for my students, so I began creating my own task cards and resources to better meet their needs. While I design with small groups in mind, the materials work just as well in whole group settings, and they’re especially effective in stations, where they’re easily accessible and consistently used.
