This is a great summer packet for first graders, or a great review for second graders! It includes 30 pages of review. Each page has a reading, math, and writing activity. Each page also includes a misc. category which covers science, social studies, health, and safety. This packet was made to closely correlate to the Grade Level Expectations for first grade. This notebook is a place for students to do their word sorts during word study. Includes a place for two and three pattern sorts. If using the Words Their Way program, there are pages for Blind Sorts, Closed Sorts, Written Sorts, Word Hunts, and Illustrate a Word. You may want to run mulitple copies of each page to create a notebook that will last all quarter/semester/year. Could also be used in a Word Study center.

Provides an opportunity for students to practice letter formation, sight word spelling, and sentence writing. Each worksheet has 4-6 sight words listed at the top. Students are to read the sight word, cover it up, write it underneath, and check their spelling. Students are to practice each sight word 5 times. Keep track of the reading comprehension skills your students have mastered. You can mark if they are needing assistance with the skill, needing occasional assistance, or if they are independently successful with the comprehension strategy.
