Are you ready for it? Turn your students into lyricists with this engaging digital activity! Students are provided with a Taylor Swift lyric, then are asked to identify the parts of speech in each sentence. They will replace one of Taylor's nouns with one of their own, and the same for any subjects, verbs, or adjectives in the lyrics. Once students have replaced the given parts of speech, their new lyric will look completely different than the original, and probably provide them with some laught
