Here's a fun activity where students practice the concept of slope as rise over run. In this activity, they'll use slope to graph lines that track a suspect's movements, counting the rise over run from point to point. Expert detective, Ray Radicand, is shadowing Mr. M. for the day. We know that Mr. M. started at his home. From there, students will use the clues Ray left in the form of linear equations to determine the places Mr. M. travelled. I graduated from UTA with a degree in English and education. I have since become certified to teach secondary ELA, computer literacy and secondary math and have earned a MA in Secondary Mathematics Education
