Experience

I have been teaching for 13 years. I have taught technology, third grade, fourth grade, and sixth grade. My favorite and most experienced grade is fourth.

Teaching style

I follow the Madeleine Hunter lesson format where each lesson has an anticipatory set, modeling/direct instruction, guided practice, independent practice, and closure. A lot of my resources will be tailored to use in the guided practice or independent practice setting.

My own education history

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Advertising with a minor in Visual Communication from Northern Arizona University in 2010. I then went back to school online at Rio Salado College to take a 2 year teacher prep program while I was already teaching full time.
