I began my teaching career while simultaneously serving in the Army National Guard as a Fire Support Specialist—a time in my life that taught me the true meaning of resilience, time management, and purpose. During that same period, I pursued my Master’s degree in Special Education, attending school full time while teaching full time and fulfilling my military responsibilities.
Beyond my professional and academic background, I’m also a parent of a child with autism. This personal experience gives me a deep, lived understanding of the challenges and triumphs families face, and it profoundly shapes the way I approach teaching. I’m passionate about creating resources that are not only effective but also respectful, inclusive, and meaningful for all learners.
Ready Set Support was born from these experiences—with the mission of equipping educators with tools that are classroom-ready, easy to implement, and grounded in both professional and personal insight.
