Koinobori 鯉のぼり - Japanese koi flags - craft
Koinobori (鯉のぼり) are Japanese carp streamers that are flown every year for Children's Day (子供の日). Families fly the streamers above their homes, with a koi flag for each member of the family. Teaching style
I believe that a foreign language classroom should be an environment where students can acquire a new language, rather than simply be taught the rules of one. I strive to create materials that are contextualized, meaningful, authentic, and engaging. My goal is to help create and facilitate an environment where Spanish can be acquired in an authentic, risk-free way that motivates and excites students. And now, after four years of living in Japan, I am working hard to share my love of Japanese culture with you, as well!
