Your class will use census data to calculate the percent of U.S. Population for each state. Students will divide the number of people in a state by the total U.S. population, then find the percent. Students, working in groups, will then round the decimals, sort the data by comparing and ordering the decimals, convert decimals to percents and class will discuss the results.
