About the store

Experience

I have been a teacher for 5 years in Goleta, CA with a year in Santa Monica. I have primarily taught upper grades, but spent time supporting 2nd-4th grade classrooms. I also spent a year as a GATE teacher developing curriculum around Depth and Complexity.

Teaching style

I like to support my students making choices for their own learning. A lot of my acitivies promote independent choice through menus or other options. I love to see my students develop a sense of their own strengths and struggles and push themselves.

My own education history

I received my BA from UCSB, as well as my Teaching Credential and Master is Education.
