With over 10 years of experience in Primary and Special Education, I am passionate about creating engaging, inclusive, and strengths-based learning environments. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with neurodiverse students, tailoring programs to meet a wide range of individual needs. My experience includes:
- Supporting students with Developmental Language Disorders (DLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome
- Designing and delivering differentiated, neuro-affirming, and explicit teaching programs
- Implementing strategies that build literacy, numeracy, communication, and executive functioning skills
In addition to my classroom experience, I have spent 13 years providing private tutoring, offering personalised one-on-one support to help students develop confidence, independence, and academic success. My approach is always student- centered, aiming to unlock each learner’s potential through clear structure, encouragement, and evidence-based practices.
