I am a Doctor of Curriculum and Instruction with 25 years of experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of learners, with a strong focus on native and heritage Spanish speakers at the upper levels.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have spent the last several years writing curriculum for my county, piloting instructional programs, and developing assessments that emphasize rigor, equity, and authentic language use. My work is grounded in real classroom practice and refined through years of implementation with diverse student populations.
