About the store
Hello! My name is ReddishAnn. I was a classroom teacher for 20 years, with experience in K-2. My undergrad is in ECED and I have a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction in Reading. I was an Instructional Specialist/Coach and supported both content areas of Literacy and Math for 3 years. In 2025, I became a Reading Academy Program Coordinator and my position requires me to train/coach all K-3 teachers in the Science of Teaching Reading. I have a passion about teaching students to read and love teaching adults and now I get to combine these with a thorough knowledge base of how children learn to read based on evidence-based research.

Teaching style
While being a classroom teacher and instructional coach, having a full understanding of best practices for students was a priority. Using engaging strategies based on research and student development was intentional and incorporated. Aligning instruction with the Science of teaching Reading and Math is now a must.
