These mini assignment checklists have been a game-changer for me and my partner teachers. We use them for everything! Since we have three classes that rotate between the three of us, we each chose a color that represented our homeroom. Then we filled in the names from our homerooms and printed off the checklists using corresponding colored paper. My class was always dark blue, then my partners’ classes were purple and aqua. This resource contains a one-page, original expository article about the Great Plains of Texas and five TEK-aligned questions. The TEKS used are in conjunction with new ELAR and new Social Studies TEKS. They are laid out for you in the bottom right-hand corner of each question.
