About the store
My journey in education has taken me through several roles that continue to shape the way I support students. I began as an ELL paraprofessional, working specifically with refugee students who arrived in the U.S. with little to no English. That experience taught me the power of patience, creativity, and oral language in helping students find their voice. After moving to Austin, Texas, I became a substitute teacher, gaining insight into different classrooms and grade levels. I then stepped into my own classroom as a teacher, where I discovered my passion for building strong routines, fostering a positive learning community, and creating engaging resources. Now, as a tutor for Pre-K through 5th grade, I bring together all of those experiences to design materials that are supportive, flexible, and meaningful for diverse learners.

Experience

My journey in education has taken me through several roles that continue to shape the way I support students. That experience taught me the power of patience, creativity, and oral language in helping students find their voice. Teaching style

My teaching style is hands-on, supportive, and centered around meeting students where they are. I believe learning should be interactive and engaging, with opportunities for students to practice skills in meaningful ways. I focus on differentiation and real-world connections so every child feels successful and challenged at their own level.

My own education history

Education has always been a passion of mine. I earned my Associate’s degree at the same time I graduated from high school, which gave me an early start on my journey as an educator. Right after, I completed my Bachelor of Applied Science in Education, where I focused on building a strong foundation in child development and teaching strategies. This background, combined with my hands-on experiences in the classroom and as a tutor, continues to guide the way I create resources that are both practical for teachers and meaningful for students.
